On November 24th, the 2018 Symposium on Science of Sports of Sichuan Universities and Colleges was held at Southwest Petroleum University. Over 80 representatives, including scholars, experts and professional faculty of physical education from 30 universities and colleges, attended the symposium.
The organizing committee has received 114 papers, involving ranking standards of sports skills and the youth physical development, the self-monitoring level of volleyball players and its effect on the serving framework, the development of outdoor recreational activities in mountainous regions, the career planning of university students majoring in the science of sports and other topics. Thorough and thought-provoking discussions, concerning the promotion of physical education innovation and development, the fitness improvement of university students and the perfection of university physical education system, have been carried out among the scholars at the symposium.
