2018 China Oilfield Chemistry Academic Forum Held in SWPU
On October 23rd and 24th, 2018 China Oilfield Chemistry Academic Forum was held solemnly in Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU). The forum was jointly sponsored by the Chemistry and Engineering Society of China (CESC) and SWPU. Over 400 people attended the forum, including heads of petroleum corporations, oilfield chemistry enterprises and the universities around the nation, experts, scholars, SWPU faculties and students.
This forum is intended to promote the oilfield chemistry technologies in China, to exchange academic research results and practical experience in oilfield chemistry, to discuss the new trends of Chinese oilfield research and technological progress and to upgrade their integrity level.
Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician Huang Wei, also as CESE vice Chairman, Northwestern Polytechnical University vice President, together with SWPU vice President Zhang Liehui, addressed the opening speeches. Wu Haiyan, Shijiazhuang Hualaidingsheng Science and Technology Ltd. General manager, delivered remarks on behalf of the entrepreneurs. SWPU professor, Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician Luo Pingya gave a keynote speech titled “Thoughts on Chinese Oilfield Chemistry Technology Development Direction”. Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician Sun Jinsheng, also top expertise at Drilling Engineering Technology Research Institute of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) gave a keynote speech titled Ultra-high Temperature Drilling Fluid Technology.
