From December 13thto 17th, the 2024 National Kabaddi Championship was held at Yunnan Minzu University. SWPU team, on behalf of Sichuan Province, won the third place.
The championship was hosted by the Social Sports Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and brought together excellent teams from all over the country. The competition was held under the system of group round-robin and then single elimination. After a fierce competition, the Sichuan team composed of SWPU players and coaches, won the 3rdplace, and Chen Jizhe was awarded the title of “Excellent Coach”.
