This lecture mainly features the mechanism of volcanic action and introduces the consensus and existing problems in the current research of volcanology. The lecturer will take the Quaternary volcanoes in China as an example to interpret the volcanism mechanism and the characteristics of volcanic morphology of monogenic volcanoes.
